One may call this a ‘teardrop’ car but this is what an Italian Mario Ricotti thought of when he assigned coachbuilder Carrozzeria Ercole Castagna to create one. He was of the opinion in 1913 that people carry need to have proper aerodynamics.
With a 40-60 HP engine, he got the bodywork done in aluminium that was riveted with a curved 3 piece windshield. After he got bored with his new creation, he designed another one with an open top. This Alfa Ricotti machine is now preserved at the Alfa Romeo museum.
Another rare collectible that will bring value with time. This product is MADE IN ITALY.
