A new development of the narrow-bodied A320, the Airbus made A320neo family ("neo" for New Engine Option), is a very quiet aeroplane and has a very low engine noise of just 85 decibels. This model can seat up to 160 passengers, and Lufthansa was the first to receive it.
In India, budget airline IndiGo has most of the A320neos in its fleet. Air-India also has several in their fleet, with the first batch of 10 arriving in 2017.
